Hennessey-Brown Music Christmas Concert

On December 9th at 7.30 pm in Holy Trinity Church, Guildford the superb chamber choir Vasari Singers conducted by Jeremy Backhouse will come to Guildford on the back of a wonderful addition to their discography curated and conducted by Jeremy Backhouse and with baritone soloist Roddy Williams. In this concert Vasari lead audience carols such as Once in Royal, O little town of Bethlehem and O come all ye faithful. They will also sing works by composers such as Herbert Howells, Cecilia McDowall, John Rutter and Will Todd. Before the interval we pay homage to Vaughan-Williams with his brilliant Fantasia on Christmas Carols. The baritone soloist on this occasion will be Andrew Thompson from The Queen’s Six. Andrew has sung around the world, at the wedding of Meghan and Harry and at the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth the Second. The cello soloist will be the co-founder of Hennessey Brown Music, Jonny.
